They are actually two different figures. The first one is a Bandai Creations 1954, and that's an American-based Bandai series. The other is the Bandai Movie Monster Series from Bandai Japan.

Dc direct is more comic accurate

I got the updated version of the 84 Neca and gave the original one I had to my mentally challenged cousin who loves Godzilla, I really want the Bandai, just hoping big bad toy store gets them someday, I’d like the Xplus 84 but 200 bux yikes lol

By speeding it up, I can’t see how it works.

For me, since I know Steel from comic, the DC Direct is what I prefer. Its proportion is much better, bigger arms and thighs, smaller head really shows how big his body is. Somehow, to me, most of Mcfarlane DC Multiverse figures have non-comic accurate proportions...such as big head, small arms. That being said, I still like Mcfarlane for customs. This kind of comparisons really help me out to find ideas to combine figures. Thank you for the video!

The McFarlane figure has superior articulation & construction, but the DC Direct one has a sculpt that better suits the aesthetic, imo. McFarlane Batman figures are very good, but they have a habit of taking the designs they're representing & kinda making McFarlane-ized versions of them, some examples being the Nolan Two-Face & Scarecrow & several of their 1966 Batman figures. The DC Direct one has that great retro-futuristic, Rocketeer-esque vibe to it that perfectly matches the gorgeous art of Alex Ross. The McFarlane one looks like they took one of their generic Batman figures & just dressed it up like the Kingdom Come design.

Be careful with that neck piece. I was putting my Heat Ray Godzilla in a dynamic pose and the peg holding the neck to the torso broke.

i would never have paid $40 bucks for this of even 20 for that matter i picked it up in the eshop for 4 dollars, hell i picked up dying light the complete edition with all dlc content and call of jaurez in a combo deal on eshop for 10 bucks so no way i wouldve paid more thzn 5 for this, actually got this free cuz used some eshop credits i earned to get this

just picked this up for nintendo switch and it really reminds me of the American Fugitive game the UI, playstyle, controls, graphics, etc.

How does the blue and texture compare between the 1000 and the Earth 3? I was interested in doing some kitbashing but wanted to check before purchasing the two pack.

Had got mine off Amazon and I’m just waiting for it to ship. This is a step up from the rest of their movie figures for Batman for sure. I can never forget the weird proportions on The Batman figure with his long arms. Hope the QC is better on these later runs of the figures.

I found a guy who does custom shoulder pads, heads, and cape for this guy. It looks just like the movie. Guy is OT Customs

The Mcfarlane’s figure is an upgrade in all aspects.

Amazon has an exclusive version with flash, supergirl and zod for the same price. The individual figures should be hitting shelves soon. The normal spin master figs are 3.75" but for some reason they made the batman movie figs 4" so I'm guessing these are repaints with slight changes for cheaper mfg. They are making a regular non rc batmobile too.

Yeah for its price point very underwhelming but that's to be expected from Spin Masters, cheap hollow plastic if I see it marked down to 10 bucks maybe I'll bite and buy it.
